The Missing Wallet

Oh dear, where is my wallet

Where ever did it go?

I think it grew some legs tonight

And walked out in the snow.

I know it has its own mind

And creeps around the house.

The mystery seems quite scary

Or was it taken by a mouse.

I know I put it on the shelf

Right there next to my bed

It must have dreamed a dream

Tonight and ran away instead

When the wallet gets excited

It gets up and begins to run

It wants to play hid and seek

It wants to have some fun.

I just can’t seem to find it

I have looked high and low

I feel something moving

OH… its right there by my toe.
